To wrap up the wrap up, the rest of these images are more from Christmas and the quiet New Year's Eve that Simon and I had at home.

As I mentioned, Simon and I had a low key New Year's Eve. We haven't spend NYE alone in two years, and with so much going on from Thanksgiving on, no one was really interested in "partying". I still wanted to make a nice dinner and make our first NYE alone in our house special, so I whipped up a little tablescape, and cooked Mediterranean Meat Pies and Strawberry Salad with homemade dressing. We sat in front of the roaring fireplace watching a few NYE specials and drank Pink Champagne at 12 (I drank most of it...maybe Simon wasn't too interested in the pink?). Lovely way to bring in the new year in my book.
I hope you all had a great Christmas and NYE. Now back to home decor blogging and the like! It's going to be a busy year :)
*btw, the watch above was a Christmas gift from Simon. Looks very similar to this one!
All of this looks so delicous :) Love your "NYE" in. We had some people over, but we were "in", too. And I honestly like it so much more that way. I'm you're newest follower. You're blog is so cute! Cheers, girl!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kat, and welcome to my blog! Yes, the older I get it seems like I just want to have a quiet NYE...plus there are too many crazies on the road :)
