Pinterest Challenge: Summer Edition!

Hello there!  It's time for the Pinterest Challenge!

I was excited to see that the ladies of Young House Love and Bower Power announced the summer Pinterest challenge last week.  One of the things that I love about summer are all of the trees in full bloom as well as other plants growing.  I recently received and purchased some potted herbs and succulents.  I decided to jazz up some pots to place them in.

Inspiration-

I went to Lowe's and purchased a few cheap clay pots.

I gathered all of my supplies:

- Various sample paints that I've had for a while (a win for my indecisive nature!).
- Various spray paints
- Craft paint
- Paint brushes
- Painters tape
- Craft scissors with a wavy edge

Then I went crazy...spraying, taping, painting.

This is the result-

There were a few paint leaks, but overall they turned out great!

I'm linking up with the other Pinterest challenge hosts on the following sites:

  3. I love these! I just recently got into plants (I'm starting with some cute succulents aka hard to kill plants). I'll definitely be saving this for later! (I came over from the pinterest challenge!)

Too cute! Bonus - they remind me of Jem and the Holograms. ;) Great job!
