Weekend Win

Hi guys!  I hope your week is coming off to a great start.  Mine is going well especially since my plant at work is responding well to the plant food that I gave it last week!

Okay, on to my weekend win.  So you know how it goes.  You decide to decorate a room in your home.  You have to make lots of decisions (a difficult task for a decisive person in training like myself).  Then the age old question comes up...what came first, the painting or the accessories?  Apparently it was the accessories for me because I've been buying things here and there for the last few months but just decided on paint colors a few weeks ago.  Anyway, I went to Lowe's over the weekend, and I am so happy that I did!  I came across an amazing clearance on lamps and lamp shades.  It was a big one.

The lamps were originally $30 each and the shades were originally $15 each.  I ended up leaving Lowe's spending $20 on it all!  The lamps were marked down to $7.49, and since one of the last two left was a display I got an extra discount on that (it was marked down to $6).  The lamp shades were marked down to $3.74.  Guys...this was so exciting for me!  It literally made my day!  I have major plans for these lamp shades.  I can't wait to put them in my bedroom and share the details when the time comes :)
