A DIY that you can do right now

One of the best things ever is seeing an everyday object and realizing what it can be turned into...especially when it's free!

To make a long story short, there were a number of HUGE picture frames that were just collecting dust at my job, so I asked if they were going to be used and if not I mentioned that I could make a wonderful home for them.  Fortunately I was able to take them all (around nine frames!).  Here they are...

I am a Listy McListerson type of person, so I thought about turning one of these frames into a chalkboard.  Because of the size of them, I opted against since it would take a lot of paint and I didn't feel like going to the store to buy any.  Instead I did something free.  I turned it into a dry erase board.  I've seen this idea around pinterest, so I went for it.

I just took the photo that was already in the frame out and flipped it to the other side...

...stuck it back into the frame and VoilĂ !  Just write on the glass with dry erase markers.

Here it is placed in my office.

When I said that you can do this DIY right now...I meant that literally because I'm sure you have an empty frame in your house somewhere.

Have fun!
